Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
I'm waiting for the price to come down on these and might then get one for the novelty of them. Don't see the point unless I had a full auto gun. If these are the new korean knockoffs havent heard enuff about them. For this price I can pick up 18-20 thirty round mags and if one breaks I've got seventeen more.

Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
Yeah I sold my chinese ak drum and ended up buying a bunch of cheap 30 rounders off of AIMSurplus the same week I sold it.
Would love to get some of these at like $50 a pop. The korean AK mags work very nicely and so far I haven't heard any negative comments on these drums. |

Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
Things break...1 or 2 drums with 75-150 rounds they crap out or 5 magazines with 150 rounds and they are smoother to swap out. Just a different perpective, choose for yourself what you want on hand.

Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
The Norinco (which in reality is the PLA) drums and the SK knock-offs can remain loaded forever without spring tension, which can be applied anytime. About as likely to be a spring issue as any 30 round mag, and probably less chance since there's never spring tension until it's applied. Being that it's a clock spring rather than a coiled spring helps also.
There's no replacement for displacement. |

Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
Just got my two drums today and they look good. Filled them up and I'll test them out tomorrow. Think I'll keep a drum in my AK and plenty of 30 and 40 round magazines to reload with when they run dry or if they malfunction.

Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
I bought one of the Korean drums in a local shop and had to take it back.
It wouldn't seat in the magwell of my SAR-1. YMMV. |

Re: *DRUM* Special @ Centerfire !!!!
I tried out one of the 75 rd Korean made drums today from centerfire systems. I didn't really intend to unload the whole thing all at once but I've got a Tac trigger on my AK and when I got started I couldn't get stopped! No problems from start to finish!

Zusn I don't know how to do the videos so no video. It was fun though! I've got a big wood pile and that was what I unloaded it into. There were wood chunks and chips flying!
This guy in the video has a full auto AK and is shooting at a wood pile. He unloaded his drums faster than I can with a tac trigger but it doesn't seem much faster to me. Think I'll stick to one drum at a time because I don't want my AK catching on fire. |
